Shisa Izakaya is a fictional restaurant in Oslo that serves Okinawan cuisine.
Okinawa is an japanese island part of the isolated Ryukyuan island group. Okinawa therefore has its own nature, climate and people, with unique culture, traditions and food.
Shisa izakaya brings authentic Okinawan food, drinks and culture to Oslo.

The logo conceptualizes a shisa. The shisa is a traditional Ryukyuan cultural item and decoration that is important in Okinawan culture. Shisa is believed to protect against evil.
